学生時代、大学の軽音楽部でBigband Jazzと出会い、コントラバスを始め、神田芳郎氏に師事。大学卒業後JazzVocalを始める。道頓堀のSt.Jamesオーナーピアニスト田中武久氏に師事、St.Jamesを中心に、Mister Kelly's、Royal Horse等ライブハウスに出演を重ねる。
2011年田中武久トリオと1stアルバム『On A Clear Day』、2014年大坂昌彦グループと2nd アルバム『In the wee small hours of the morning』、2016年、辛島文雄氏とのDUO『Just in Time tribute to Takehisa Tanaka』を発表。2025年タナ アキラ氏、竹田一彦氏らと4thアルバム『In The Flow』を発表。
現在は、竹田一彦氏に師事、大阪を中心に、精力的にライブ活動を重ねている。

Jasmine is a Japanese jazz vocalist based in Osaka. Her musical path began during her university years, when she encountered Big Band Jazz through the university light music club and took up the contrabass under the guidance of Yoshirō Kanda. After graduating, she shifted her focus to jazz vocals.
She studied under pianist Takehisa Tanaka, owner of the renowned jazz club St. James in Dōtonbori, Osaka. Building her early career around performances at St. James, she also appeared at leading live venues such as Mister Kelly’s and Royal Horse, establishing a strong presence in the Kansai jazz scene.
In 2011, Jasmine released her debut album On A Clear Day with the Takehisa Tanaka Trio. Her second album, In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning, followed in 2014 with the Masahiko Osaka Group. In 2016, she recorded Just in Time – Tribute to Takehisa Tanaka, a duo album with master pianist Fumio Karashima. In 2025, she released her fourth album In The Flow, featuring Akira Tana, Kazuhiko Takeda, and other distinguished musicians.
She is currently studying under Kazuhiko Takeda and continues to perform actively, primarily in Osaka, appearing in live houses, concerts, and jazz events throughout Japan.
Jasmine has collaborated with many notable artists, including Takehisa Tanaka, Kazuhiko Takeda, Fumio Karashima, Yoshirō Kanda, Satoru Ajimine, Hiroshi Hata, Yoichi Tanaka, Rikiya Higashihara, Yosuke Inoue, and Masahiko Osaka, among others.
